## Background

UPOS (Universal Profile Organization Studio) is our first public good project. 

It's a full-stack platform for handling onchain UP DAOs. 
Key Features: 
- LSP7Votes and LSP8Votes extension 
- DAO Creation
- Proposal Creation 
- Voting on proposals 
- Execution of the successful proposals

It's basically the version 2 of the the DUPDAO which was our project for the #buildup1 DAO keymanager track which was the winner of that track.

One of the key features that we have to here are LSP7Votes and LSP8Votes extensions. 

Normal LSP7s, and LSP8s can not participate in an on-chain voting.

Off-chain Snapshot based DAOs, are not really a DAO. 

They give you option to vote off-chain, and then a multisig wallet will execute that voting result. 

The problem is that multisig wallet can execute whatever they want without giving a care about the voting result.


## BackerBuck Incentives

UPOS is a public good project which everybody on LUKSO will benefit from. 

We are building it, because we need it, also we kinda were good at building it and we already have built most of it.

But this project can not have a proper business model. We're planning to sustain it using grants and one of our other projects called FundUP.

But $UPOS backerbucks have some utilities:
- $UPOS contributors can vote on which DAOs will be showed in the featured list and the main page.
- $UPOS holders, endorsers and contributors will be appreciated in our main page.

## Wen??
Our timeline is tight, but this project is a necessary part of our plan for our other projects, including **LUKSTA**, **FundUP** and **CublisDAO**.

So we will try out best to be ready by the mid July. But this project certainly need audits, and we can not know exact audit timeline.
